Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Gibson actually grew up in a dental family (his father is a retired dentist and his two siblings are practicing dentists), and he realized at a young age that he wanted to follow the same career path. He liked the idea of being able to work with each patient one-on-one and then use a combination of art and science to improve their lives.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After attending Washington and Lee University for his undergrad, Dr. Gibson earned his dental degree from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Today, he has over 20 years of clinical experience focused on cosmetic and restorative dentistry and has advanced training to treat patients of all ages. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Gibson is married to our own Dr. Caouette, and they like spending their free time together enjoying the great outdoors, hiking, biking, and skiing. Fun fact: He got his private pilot’s license when he was just 17 years old!
